A Special Message from Brianti

I know that I haven’t been doing my job very well. The last post I did was two months ago and before that it had been even longer since I’d sat down and done a blog.

I want you to know that I wasn’t just sitting around and not thinking about the blog. There were some things in my life that I needed to get together because you can’t be helping people when you have unresolved issues and challenges you haven’t met yet. I spent the last few months working, writing and getting focused on what I want from life again.

During my sabbatical, I faced some challenges and situations where I could have settled and gone against what I believe, but I didn’t because I always thought about what my blog readers would think if I suddenly became someone else. So, I have to thank you for that.

I’ve decided to come back to this and really commit to it consistently. I’ve been writing ideas constantly and I’m ready to tackle the issues minority women face again, but there will be a few changes. I have ended my relationship with the online magazine this blog was linked to, so it will be done independently, which makes it a bit more difficult to get readers. I have also added an “ASK” button at the top of the blog for you to ask me questions or suggest topics because I want this to be about more than just I want to give you. I want to know what you would like to receive.

I look forward to writing for you again.
